Safe Ways to Store your Makeup

You spend a lot of time and money for selecting the right makeup tools. But, you may not be storing your makeup in a right way. The way you store your cosmetics can have a huge impact on their uses and durability. Neat and tidy makeup helps you stay healthy without exposing your skin to irritation or infection. Check out the below steps to make your makeup stay effective and last longer.

Step: 1 First you need to thrash all the old, broken, smelly, or dried out makeup. Mascara and foundation hould be replaced every three months. Whereas, lipstick and gloss should be replaced after a year. Once you have purged your makeup, store the usable items.

Step: 2 Find an ideal place to safely store your makeup. Make sure that the place is not exposed to extreme temperature. Makeup and fragrance should be kept away from humidity and heat. Your makeup will stay protected under a cool and dry environment.

Step: 3 Store your makeup out of reach of children. Keeping inside a cupboard can be a good idea. This way your makeup items will remain dust free and secure.

Step: 4 Facial scrubs and cleansers tend to take in moisture quickly. When kept inside a bathroom, they become diluted and easily catch the bacteria. So, never keep them open inside your bathroom. Store them inside your bathroom cupboard or in a dry place.

Step: 5 Choose different kind of cases to store your makeup items and tools. You can choose afoldable cosmetic organizer bag, aluminum cosmetic case, transparent plastic zipped bag, and so on. Using a brush guard can be a nice way to store brushes. The mesh tube sleeves protect bristles from getting bent out of shape.

Keep in mind that messy makeup always tends to be dirty and can go bad before you use them. So, be sure to keep your makeup tidy and fresh. Store them in a proper way to enhance their durability.
